The Access & Tools module forced our IT queue into the open. We still argue about laptop vendors, but at least the argument happens before start day now.
Flagship program
Employer Onboarding Blueprint
A consultation-led program for employers who need onboarding process design that holds under real German workplace constraints.
Overview
What you leave with
Not a binder of generic tips — a named process with owners, timings, and decision points. We facilitate employment consultations with your HR, IT, and hiring managers, then document the design so it can be reused.
- Role-family journey maps for the first 30 days
- Access & tools matrix tied to start-date minus seven
- Manager coaching prompts for weeks one and three
- A lightweight measurement sheet (signals, not vanity scores)
Modules
Sessions alternate between facilitated workshops and async drafting time.
Signal audit
Collect where new hires stall today — tickets, buddy fatigue, missing kit, unclear probation expectations.
Journey framing
Define role families and the moments that must never be improvised on day one.
Access & tools sequencing
Build the pre-start checklist with IT and facilities, including fallback paths when vendors slip.
Manager readiness loop
Coach hiring managers on check-ins that respect German probation norms without becoming interrogations.
Works council & policy touchpoints
Identify which onboarding changes need consultation, documentation, or a softer communication path.
Run & revise
Pilot the map with one cohort, capture friction, and lock a revision ritual for the next quarter.
Learning outcomes
- Own a documented onboarding process with clear RACI for HR, managers, and IT
- Translate employment consultation findings into weekly rituals people actually keep
- Spot legal and co-determination touchpoints early enough to avoid last-minute rework
- Measure onboarding health with a short signal set your leadership will read
Program lead
Elise Moritz
Elise has facilitated employment consultations for mid-sized German employers for over a decade, with a focus on onboarding process design that survives works council review and busy manager calendars. She previously led people operations for a coastal logistics group before founding the Apiendpoint Core practice model.
Solid facilitation. I wanted more industry-specific examples for manufacturing; the templates still transferred after we rewrote two checklists.
FAQ
Is this legal advice?
No. Apiendpoint Core provides process design and employment consultation facilitation. For binding legal interpretation, involve your counsel or a qualified employment lawyer in Germany.
How many people should join?
Ideally four to eight: HR, one hiring manager, IT, and someone who owns facilities or equipment. Larger groups slow decisions without improving the map.
What is a real limitation of this program?
We do not implement HRIS workflows or write payroll integrations. If your bottleneck is software configuration, you will still need your vendor team — we only define the process those tools should serve.
Can we run this remotely?
Yes. Most cohorts mix two on-site workshops (or your preferred hub) with remote drafting sessions. Fully remote is available when travel is impractical.
Ready to pressure-test your onboarding draft?
Send a short note about team size and where new hires lose momentum. We reply with a recommended path.
